The tale of Cinderella

Once Upon a Time...

Cinderella was very unhappy with her life. Life, she decided was unfair and only rewarded the selfish -- which was the only reason she could explain why her nasty step sisters and step mother were allowed to go to the Prince’s Ball but she wasn’t.

Suddenly, she noticed a bright light. She wasn’t sure what it was until it stopped right in front of her and then --- poof -- there she was!

“Do not despair, my dear. You will attend that ball.”

“Who are you?” Cinderella wondered.

The woman smiled kindly at her, but yet mischievously. “Oh! I'm your Fairy godmother, and I'm here to change your life, Cinderella.”

“But….my stepmother told me that I couldn't go. She forbade me to leave," she protested.

"Your stepmother doesn't have this,” she said, showing off her magic wand. “This wand has the power to take you to your ball and to your Prince, and to…" she started to explain before abruptly exploding before her eyes.

All Cinderella’s hopes crushed in a second.

Who would kill her fairy god mother and rob her of her one wish? But on the very spot where her fairy godmother was killed, a strange fellow who called himself Rumpelstiltskin appeared, taking possession of her fairy godmother’s the wand.

How could she know that deal she made with him would cost her dearly, to loose something so precious it would come back to haunt her...in our world.
